The National Stock Horse Association (NSHA) 2012 Futurity and World's Richest Stock Horse show (August 13-19) once again brought together some of the finest cow horses in the country to compete for top honors and fat prize checks. "I love this show," commented trainer Corey Cushing. "The Dilday family and Jake Gorrell, who run the show, always do an outstanding job. It's tough to get the added money and sponsors, but they do what they can to make it good for the exhibitors.

The West Coast once again showed that we have some tremendous talent in the show pen, sending a large contingent to this year's Youth World (August 3-11). It was particularly exciting when several of the riders landed in the top ten in the Trail class, led by World Champion Taylor Brown (Kellie Hinely, trainer) and her Just Hit Town.
Some of the best horses and riders gathered in Tulsa, Oklahoma August 15-19, 2012. Lured by the chance to compete among the best at the National Snaffle Bit Association World Championship Show, riders vied for titles in 103 different championship classes. They also had the chance to take home a share of over $450,000 in cash and prizes. “Tulsa is a nice little city,” says Pam Bilek who owns Huntin’ Big Dreams. “But we go for the competition. It’s fun. The classes are very deep. The competition is very good.”
Entries came from across the nation and the globe for the 2012 AjPHA (American Junior Paint Horse Association) Youth World Championship Show. In all, 293 young equestrians from 34 states, plus Canada, Germany, Austria, Australia, France, Holland and Switzerland traveled to Will Rogers Memorial Center in Fort Worth to vie for championship titles during the annual nine-day show.
